Open the app and you'll see this week's local events on a map, from farmers markets and live music to comedy nights and trivia. Tap on anything to see when and where it is.

How it works

Here's what you can do in the app.

  1. A list of the week's events sorted by day, with farmers markets, trivia nights, live music, and comedy.

    Look through the week

    Events are sorted by day, so you can check what's on tonight or plan ahead for the weekend.

  2. An event page for King Harbor Oktoberfest, showing the dates, the address, and buttons to share, add to calendar, and get a reminder.

    Read the details

    Each event shows when and where it is, with buttons for directions, your calendar, and sharing with a friend.

    Keep track of your plans

    Mark an event as going or interested, and the app can send you a reminder before it starts.

What you'll find

There's usually more going on nearby than you'd guess.

Each week the map fills up with farmers markets, live music, comedy, trivia nights, festivals, and other local events. It's an easy way to notice things you might otherwise have missed.

You can look at one day at a time on the map, or see the whole week as a list.

Where it's available

This Week is available in four areas right now.

You can follow one area or several, and switch between them in the app whenever you like.

  • Coastal OC

    Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, and San Clemente

  • Long Beach

    Long Beach and Signal Hill

  • Santa Barbara County

    Santa Barbara, Goleta, Isla Vista, Carpinteria, and Montecito

  • South Bay LA

    Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Torrance, and Palos Verdes

If you live somewhere else, you're welcome to join the waitlist and tell us where you are. We're adding new places over time, and we'll let you know when yours is ready.
